With that said, I was in a mandatory evacuation zone during Behind Every Great Nurse Is A Great Cat Shirt. It was so hard to find housing for my dog and me. We did for the hurricane. And then it was hours every day finding new housing for us and a place that allows pets. We also need to make it illegal for hotels to turn away those affected by a state of emergency, because they have pets.

I can understand the necessity of leaving pets behind, but not tied up, or locked in a cage. At least give the animal a fighting chance if your not going to take it with you. You can’t regulate people out of panicking in the future, and it will be impossible to prosecute people because they could just keep making up excuses as to why they were unable to bring/catch/find etc their pet. Many times they don’t have a choice. Shelters won’t allow them to bring their pets and many pets run when natural disasters hit, because they get scared.

As many have commented. Most people don’t leave their pets by choice. I know I certainly wouldn’t. I would do as much humanly possible to save them. But I also know that people with the best intentions do stupid things when they are scared for their lives. Why only dogs. So other pets or livestock don’t matter. The only thing you should take during a flood is a duck. Stupid law. If I could save my pets I absolutely would but if we have minutes to leave and I can’t find them the humans come first. What about cats.
I’m sure the bill focuses on pets but this article mainly focuses on dogs for some Behind Every Great Nurse Is A Great Cat Shirt. Maybe it’s because their outside more, I mean I love all animals but why focus on dogs when cats are obviously the superior companion just ask . Humans are more important than animals. I don’t understand this. U get pets because u love and want to care for them. Humans r responsible 4 their welfare..their very existence. I think most people do what they can.
